Gary Reynolds Completes London Marathon In Support Of Mountbatten Isle Of Wight
Huge congratulations to team member Gary Reynolds, who completed the London Marathon in an incredible 4 hours and 3 minutes.
Gary ran the London Marathon to raise money for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, an independent hospice charity providing health and end of life care, as well as bereavement support to people living on the Isle of Wight.
Mountbatten Isle of Wight supports people and families across the Island through a range of services, including hospice care, care at home, outpatient support and bereavement services. Its work helps people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as those close to them, feel supported during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
The charity also provides specialist support beyond the hospice building, helping people receive care in the place that is right for them. For many families, this support can make a real difference, offering comfort, guidance and reassurance when it is needed most.
The original fundraising target was £500, but thanks to the generous support of family, friends and colleagues he has now raised £1,020 – more than double his original target. Well done Gary, and thank you to everyone who supported his fundraising for Mountbatten Isle of Wight.
