Isle of Wight Distribution has teamed up with Hovertravel to launch a new next day delivery service across the Isle of Wight, offering residents and businesses a faster, more reliable way to receive parcels from the mainland.
Customers can now simply drop off their parcels at Hovertravel’s Southsea terminal, and they’ll be delivered directly to their door the following day by our professional island-based logistics team.
This partnership combines Hovertravel’s fast and frequent cross-Solent service with our local delivery expertise, ensuring that every parcel reaches its destination quickly, securely, and with the personal service that Isle of Wight Distribution is known for.

Your Parcel’s Journey Across the Solent
- Drop off your parcel at Hovertravel’s Southsea terminal.
- Weighing and payment are completed on site payments can be made by cash, card, or account. The total cost includes both Cross-Solent and Next Day Delivery rates.
- Transit to the island: Your parcel is loaded onto the next available Hovertravel flight to Ryde. (For guaranteed next-day delivery, parcels must be dropped off by 15:30.)
- Collection in Ryde: On arrival, our Isle of Wight Distribution team collects all incoming parcels for local sorting.
- Delivery across the island: Parcels are then delivered directly to the recipient’s address the following working day.
