At Isle of Wight Distribution, supporting our local community is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re so proud to have been able to support one of the Island’s most iconic upcoming events, Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s Walk the Wight 2025.

Playing a Key Role Behind the Scenes

We were delighted to be entrusted with the delivery of the official walker packs, ensuring they arrived safely from the printers in Derby to Mountbatten Isle of Wight’s base on the Island. These packs are essential for walkers as they prepare to take on the challenge, and we’re proud to have played a part in getting them into the right hands.

Our Team Stepping Up for the Cause

But we’re not just helping behind the scenes—some of our own team members will be on the trail, too! We’re excited to have Chris Aldridge taking part in this year’s event, walking in support of Mountbatten and the vital work they do. Chris will be joined by Tom Flood from Acclaim Logistics, along with several other members of the Acclaim Freight Services team. We’re incredibly proud to see our colleagues walking the walk—literally—demonstrating their commitment to both the cause and the community.

Having helped deliver the packs, our team now has the unique experience of receiving them as well, bringing our involvement full circle. It’s a special moment to see our work translate into real impact, both on and off the road.
